Most people would be in a much better position if they focused on projects that are actually building towards a long-term vision. I see so many jumping into bundled new pairs only to get wrecked within literally hours, then wondering what went wrong.

The key is backing projects that are actively developing tech people will actually use, forming solid partnerships, and working to establish themselves as recognisable names in the space.
