Wow - great work. 

Moneyball for the NBA will have, at the limit, two consequences for teams:

X. Computer models, overfitting to their training set, will ultimately suggest brittle player selection. 

X. Play selection and player training will become a process of finding a Nash equilibrium which will make the product more defensive with less scoring, and the scoring being more EV+. 

As a side note, this will also make betting models extremely accurate.
