It is not decentralized AI - the network has been paused multiple times for various reasons, even including a hack that lost validators millions. The team uploaded a compromised PyPI file that caused immense damage. When this happened, the team froze their network. Their network is not novel - It uses polkadot SDK and is passed off as their own "intelligence network." Also discovered to have additional vulnerabilities aside from the PyPI incident. It is not bootstrapping - the system is actually crowdsourced donation. Every person purchasing the token is subsidizing compute for others to run software off of subnets, that can in some cases earn money, which is not shared with you. It is not safe - Millions of dollars have already been lost using the network due to exploits. The only thing that will make me think otherwise is if the network entirely focuses on Const's cancer research subnet and it is rightfully labeled as a charity network for researchers. Otherwise, it is misleading investors. To make matters worse, it has created a cult, one in which that has given midcurves words to use to make themselves feel smarter. This is your warning before we miss the event horizon on real decentralized AI and we end up with a dystopic AI outcome fueled by Sam Altman & co's AI death-knell. The sad part is that inefficient and improperly placed capital will actually cause humanity to collapse. This isn't about money, this is about what works and what doesn't.
