Tinder CEO Faye Iosotaluno will step down in July after less than a year leading one of Match Group's most prominent platforms. As she moves on to work on something she called "deeply personal" in a post announcing the news, she leaves an organization that like many in the dating space, is struggling to make connections with new users.

Just earlier this month, Match Group conducted a XX% layoff to cut costs, some of which occurred within Tinder, and they're not alone. Bumble conducted a XX% layoff last year and shut down two apps it acquired earlier this year as it faces the same one-two bunch of user attrition and declining Wall Street interest as Match Group's portfolio.
