Here's arguably the greatest golfer of all time... Jack Nicklaus

You can clearly see he is "early extending"...

Tell me, why are you (recreational golfers), so obsessed with eliminating early extension when you see (arguably) the greatest golfer that has ever lived, doing the exact thing you want to stop doing?

This is a genuine question. No hate, I'm just genuinely curious as a coach what has made you "think or assume" that early extension is the boogie man everyone should be avoiding.

I'm also not here saying its GOOD or BAD because of course, it depends on the student & how they move. I've definitely tried to reduce it for some players but have also kept it for others.

My question to you is can you quantify WHY you need to stop yourself early extending... Will it make you better or is it just something you think is bad & aesthetically you want to remove it?

Food for thought... think deeply
