Essential chart of #gold and the broader #commodity index $GSCI - which helps with positioning!!! 

Over shorter time frames, there is an inverse correlation. While $XAUUSD tends to anticipate the movements,  #oil and other commodities follow. This leads us to the conclusion of a catch-up from other #commodities to gold.
