🩺 GE HealthCare Gets FDA Approval for Pediatric Use of Optison Ultrasound Agent

GE HealthCare ( $GEHC ) announced that the FDA has approved a pediatric indication for its Optison ultrasound enhancing agent.

 The approval will help cardiologists capture clearer echocardiogram images to better diagnose heart conditions in children.

Notably, Optison is the only PEG-free ultrasound agent currently available in the U.S. 🇺🇸
