CP Group Chief Suphachai Chearavanont urged Thailand to deepen US ties to become Southeast Asia’s top data center hub. 

Suphachai currently leads Thailand’s corporate giant, Charoen Pokphand Group (CP), which operates extensively across Thailand, China, and Southeast Asia in sectors including convenience stores, food processing, insurance and telecommunications. 

With annual revenues ✅ exceeding $XXX billion, CP is one of the nation’s most successful conglomerates, making the Chearavanont family among Thailand’s wealthiest and most influential. 

Speaking at the American Chamber of Commerce, he highlighted Thailand’s low-cost renewable energy (2-3 baht/unit), affordable land, and skilled workforce as key attractions for tech giants like Amazon and Google. 

With Southeast Asia’s data center market set to hit $XXX billion by 2028, he called for streamlined regulations, workforce training, and US trade agreements to stay ahead of Malaysia and Vietnam. 

Suphachai emphasized sustainable practices and a 10-year economic vision to secure Thailand’s digital economy leadership.
