I'm in a X communities & I noticed a few issues: 🔸Bridges are not friendly: Many users struggle to get $INIT into @intergaze_xyz. Firstly the native bridge only accepts USDC & when it's done, another bridge is needed to bridge $INIT to Intergaze. And the display on Intergaze isn't helping as it only shows the bridge from @initia Mainnet to Intergaze, not from other chains, as many users only interact with Intergaze as their first rollup. They should've partner with @gasdotzip to bridge funds from other L2/Solana in a single UI, this will help simplify the UX much better. Not many know that each "dapp" on Initia is a "L2" or roll-up & this puts them off. 🔸Wallet Confusion: Users outside of Initia are caught by surprise when they connect with their usual EVM wallet, only to find their address is entirely different, which starts with "init" This creates another layer of distress when they can't find their WL or some even submitted the wrong wallet address before this. Pretty sure some even lost funds when they did a wrong transfer of $INIT from CEX or from bridges. Even the bridge to Intergaze didn't automatically put their own address in there & some say they couldn't find their funds after bridging. 🔸VIP Rewards: The best product of Initia, but sadly not preached enough to NFT enthusiast. Many don't know by minting/trading, they gain VIP points, which will be converted to $INIT rewards after every epoch, based on how many votes Intergaze get on Initia Mainnet. With @zaar_gg, owners can bridge the NFTs & gain even more VIP rewards just by holding there. But to be frank, this is confusing & intimidating to general/new NFT owners. NFT teams probably should've preached this as the main reward to owners & holders. Many expected "airdrop" which was disappointed. 🔸Intergaze Features: Sorry to say, Intergaze wasn't ready at all. So many features weren't available, like ranking, stats rarity, charts, activities on chain. They had lots of months to prepare & so many other successful launchpads/marketplace to learn from. Without these info, folks don't even know what rarity is their NFT & whether it's worth holding or not. All they see is the price & when it starts to tank, folks panic & start selling. Intergaze needs to do better. 🔸Mint Price: In my opinion, it's rather high for a new chain & collection of that amount of supply. Folks have been "grinding for WL" only to see the mint price is quite expensive during announcement, especially for those who didn't have Airdrop from Initia. During the days leading up to minting, the price rise of $INIT didn't help either. Sad state of affairs at the moment but I still hope they will do well & I'm still holding to some of mine. But this should be a lesson to other new L1s launching NFTs. Many things have to be considered to reduce or eliminate as many FUD as possible during launching. The price of the NFT reflects it's sentiment, but when all genesis collections are struggling, it's something beyond the NFT team's capability, it's the entire ecosystem & chain. All has a part to play to make the NFT scene a successful one.
