This tracks with what I'm seeing coming out of teams like Templar & @rayon_labs . They're breaking new frontiers. Its early but a promising start. X. crypto AI's golden egg right now is in infrastructure. If we can crack decentralized training (pre & post training), data aggregation (personal data in particular), encrypted inference etc then we have a shot at creating a very attractive alternative to frontier centralized model producers. Nous, Prime Intellect, Vana, Pluralis, Grass & more came into discussion here. X. Agents will be the breakthrough "consumer app era" for AI... but we're early. Agents are at the stage where they can get access to all the tools... but have no idea how to use them. we both agreed that data (contextual) + additional "wiring" like Agent-2-Agent (A2A) will enable this. also kind of interesting how the biggest agent protocols are ones created by centralized leaders OpenAI and Anthropic. What we're worried about: If data is the moat, then how do we win? at the end of the day product experience trumps any kind of "decentralization" argument, unless a catastrophic event occurs which causes people to care. so what is web3's use here beyond just "doomsday infra"? We didn't get to a solid answer on this. If anyone has one please share.
