Nigeria’s non-oil exports hit a record $XXX billion in QI, the highest in XX years.
Cocoa and its derivatives accounted for XX per cent of the lot. Products such as cashew nuts, sesame seeds, aluminium and copper ingots, soybeans, and rubber also topped the list of exports. Nonye Ayeni, the Nigerian Export Promotion Council executive director, said the value of non-oil exports recorded in the first quarter was  XXXXX per cent higher than the corresponding value in the first quarter of 2024. She said the year-on-year increase was the highest since the council was created XX years ago.
