🇨🇳🇵🇭 CHINA CLAIMS TO “DEFEND” PHILIPPINE WATERS FROM… THE PHILIPPINES

China claims it “monitored and drove away” a Philippine Navy ship from Scarborough Shoal yesterday, calling it an “illegal intrusion” and a “serious violation” of its sovereignty.

That’s rich — the shoal is just XXX nautical miles off the coast of Philippines, and over XXX from China.

Also, international court ruling in 2016? Yeah, it said the shoal legally belongs to the Philippines.
