This won't mean anything to you if you have never studied technical analysis, but the S&P XXX sold off and fell below the XXX day moving average.

It then recovered for a week and immediately sold off after bouncing off the 200ma.  This a confirmed new down trend in the stock market and all trading algorithms and technical traders are now treating it as a downtrend.

America is heading for recession and a bear market this year because of Trump's economic policies.
