what's worse than not being eligible for an airdrop is being eligible and forgetting to claim it and getting to know it past the claim period

with claim periods getting smaller and smaller, days, months and sometimes years of hardwork spent as time/money onchain goes to waste when miss it by getting busy irl for a while

moreover, people with OG family wallets get included in so many big profile airdrops they wouldn't even think they would be eligible for (ex., $pengu )
