🚨🇨🇳 ALIBABA IS DROPPING A MULTIMODAL AI MODEL

Alibaba just launched “Qwen2.5-Omni-7B” — a cost-efficient AI beast that reads text, images, audio, and video, and replies in natural speech. 

It runs on edge devices like your phone and aims to power real-time apps, like AI guides for the visually impaired.

Open-sourced via Hugging Face and GitHub, this model marks China's latest AI sprint post-DeepSeek. 

Alibaba’s also backing it with a $53B investment push and a deal with Apple to power iPhones in China.

The AI arms race isn’t slowing. 

It’s accelerating—China’s all in.
