- Bond markets will be looking at the gross issuance task for 2025/26 with estimates at A$135bn-$170bn. 2024/25 gross issuance was forecast at A$95bn.
- Even at A$135bn the net issuance task of A$56bn will be the largest ever increase in the free float of ACGBs.
-Australia’s own government Debt-to-GDP ratio is around
44%.
