On March 18, 2024, around X PM, I had my first call with @pythonhulk. One of the first things he asked was: "Can we get X writers covering projects on (now Rabble)?" I said yes—and just like that, our first Write-a-thon kicked off on March XX. Around the same time, @hmalviya9 launched the DYOR Fellowship with 5-10 researchers and writers. With two programs onboard, ScribbleDAO officially started on April 4, 2024. Our mission? - Groom top-tier crypto content researchers and writers - Help them monetize their craft - Simplify projects narratives and build a distribution hub for them Fast forward XXX days to March 18, 2025—we’ve launched a full-fledged platform for crypto writers and researchers. But why a platform? Because these numbers told us it was time: - Total grants: XX - Total impressions: XXXXXXXXX - Total RTs: XXXXX - Total likes: XXXXXX - Total bookmarks: XXXXX - Total distributed: $150K+ And now, the ScribbleDAO platform is here to solve the problems we faced (while building something great): - Opening ScribbleDAO to public writers (to some extent) - Easy collation of threads (so I’m not manually doing it forever) - Seamless reward distribution (coming soon) - Writers can build their own portfolios—your dashboard = your benchmark - SPL (more on this later) After one year of this journey, one thing is clear: Web3's creator economy is still massively untapped, and it's only going to grow from here.
