John Groce and the Akron Zips went to the NCAA tourney last year, and lost their all-everything star in Enrique Freeman to the NBA. 

Akron is 13-0 in the MAC - which ties the program record for the best start to begin conference play. The only other Akron squad to do so was the 2012-13 team. 

Akron is led by Nate Johnson (14 ppg), but the Zips have more balance and are also a prolific 3-point shooting team, making more than XX per game.
