Yukari from Girls und Panzer is in fact based on the character of Lidka from the Polish TV show Four Tank-Men and a Dog

Evident from the fact that the Japanese directors are confirmed to have watched the show and they visited Poland in 2016 (Yukaris fav tank is the Polish 7tp)
