The Maharlika Investment Corp. (MIC) from the Philippines and Thailand's Charoen Pokphand Group (CP Group) have agreed to create a $X billion private equity fund. 

This deal was signed at the Malacañang Palace with President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. present.

MIC's president, Rafael Consing Jr., explained that this partnership aims to boost the Philippine economy by making it a top spot for investments. The fund will focus on long-term growth in areas like agriculture, technology, and green energy.

MIC, which manages the Philippine sovereign wealth fund known as the Maharlika Investment Fund, will use this money to invest in various projects. They plan to have the fund ready to invest within the next X to XX months.

CP Group, founded in 1921, operates in over XX countries across several industries including food, retail, tech, and finance.
