The illegal deportation and "lost jobs"  crisis have exposed why the U.S. can never compete with the Chinese extremely cheap labor market (both skilled and unskilled labor force).

While labor is relatively cheap in China, the U.S., on the other hand, has been depending largely on illegal immigrants for cheap and unskilled labor, since the time of slavery. 

In history, every empire has needed cheap or free labor to outcompete others.

A country built with the sweat and strength of forced laborers cannot suddenly wake up and change that status quo overnight; it will take many years to achieve. 

Will the U.S. ever stand a chance to compete with the Chinese workforce? No way!
