I've said it time and time again, but I think this is a good opportunity to say it one more time. XXXXXX is cool and a huge number, but the number that means something to me is the number of real connections I've made in the space. who knows what that number actually is? there are dozens, or maybe hundreds, of people I've actually interacted with, worked with, supported, or who have supported me throughout my time here. these dozens or hundreds of people are the ones I have come to really call friends. that's the number that matters to me, and I'm very fortunate to say this number is still growing. now why the fuck am I making this post if I don't care about the 10k? it's because you all do, and if you think it's a reason to celebrate, then I'm gonna celebrate with you! so thank you to all the friends I've made along the way. whether we met when I was a mod at pudgies, a project manager at doodles, or now as the community lead at story, your time with me means more than this 10k number. yup, I hit 10k followers!
