🇱🇧 LEBANON’S NEW PM RESIGNS FROM INTERNATIONAL COURT OF JUSTICE

Nawaf Salam has resigned from the International Court of Justice to take on an even tougher role: Prime Minister of Lebanon. 

His ICJ term was set to end in 2027, but politics called sooner.  

President Joseph Aoun’s pick, backed by most lawmakers, is a major blow to Hezbollah, which isn’t thrilled about being sidelined.
