Crypto market recently faced a sharp correction, with BTC dropping below $XXXXXX and Ethereum falling to around $XXXXX. This downturn was driven by strong U.S. job data, which shifted expectations for Federal Reserve rate cuts, triggering significant liquidations.

AI Agents are experiencing an even sharper correction, exacerbated by agent fragmentation. With too many agents vying for attention and capital, the market feels stretched thin.

Despite the current market slump, 2025 is shaping up to be the breakout year for AI Agents.

As Jensen Huang (NVIDIA) remarked during CES 2025: “AI Agents is likely the next trillion-dollar opportunity.”

These Decentralized Autonomous AI Organizations (DAAIOs) represent a new vision for decentralized governance.

Competition continues to heat up for DeFAI, especially for Abstraction Layers. In term of autonomous trading agents & AI-powered dApps, price action of the agents are still largely suppressed by the overall sluggish Crypto market.

Thoughts on the Market

This correction is much-needed. I'm personally not worried at all (even though I just had a 7-fig drawdown from not taking profit last week). My conviction remains strong: 2025 will be the year for AI Agents.

We’re just scratching the surface of what’s possible. Builders have plenty of opportunities to deliver quality use cases, and users have more tools than ever to explore.

Most importantly, this is the most fun I’ve had since joining crypto during the 2021 bull market. The excitement will continue, regardless of whether the market is dumping or pumping.
