Anyone ever been to Kathu in the Northern Cape of South Africa? 
I hadn't until last week. 2400km journey there n back. Kumba Iron Ore mine is there. I've not seen the scale of industry for decades that I saw there. A big rich town in the middle of nowhere. The roads are endless
