NEW: Rapper Lil Durk is arrested in a murd-r-for-hire plot just hours after five others were charged in connection with the shooting of rapper Quando Rondo's cousin

Rapper Lil Durk, whose real name is Durk Banks, was arrested by Broward County Police in Florida on Thursday night

Lil Durk is currently being held at Broward County Jail awaiting transfer to US Marshals custody

His arrest follows the arrest of five other men linked to an August 2022 shooting

The five men face charges unsealed by a US District Court in Los Angeles, including conspiracy to commit murd-r-for-hire, murd-r-for-hire involving death, and use of a machine gun in a violent crime resulting in death
