SEC Greenlights Options On Spot Bitcoin ETFs

The SEC has approved rule changes allowing stock exchanges to list options tied to spot Bitcoin ETFs.

The NYSE can now list options on the Grayscale Bitcoin Trust (GBTC), Grayscale Bitcoin Mini Trust (BTC), and Bitwise Bitcoin ETF (BITB), while Cboe Global Markets can offer options on the Fidelity Wise Origin Bitcoin Fund (FBTC) and the ARK 21Shares Bitcoin ETF (ARKB).
