🇺🇸BLACKSTONE CREDIT ARM SURGES, LIFTING PROFITS

Blackstone Inc. reported a jump in third-quarter profit, fueled by its credit arm, which took in $XXXX billion and became the firm’s largest business by assets. 

Distributable earnings rose XXX% to $XXXX billion, beating analyst expectations. 

Credit now comprises $XXXXX billion of Blackstone’s $XXX trillion in assets, edging out real estate. 

Shares surged 6.3%, the most in XX months. 

While private equity and real estate performance lagged, Blackstone’s diversified business helped it thrive in a challenging market.
