#Zilliqa has implemented a halving mechanism for mining rewards, approved by over XX% of gZIL holders, to support its transition to Proof-of-Stake (PoS) with Zilliqa XXX.

The halving will reduce mining rewards to XXXX% of the original amount by December 2024, reallocating surplus tokens for ecosystem benefits.
