BEE BOOST FOR CORONATION

Coronation Fund Managers will boost its Black ownership to XX% by issuing shares to two BEE trusts. Currently, Black ownership is at 31%. 

The deal includes creating an employee share ownership plan (ESOP) and a broad-based ownership scheme (BBOS), with shares worth R1.4-billion allocated. This is crucial as Coronation risks losing assets and market share if it doesn’t meet the Black ownership requirements.
