Here's how: I hired a hispanic virtual assistant to cold call XXX local companies in Houston: XXX tree trimming XXX landscapers Why hispanic? So he'll be able to communicate with XXX% of the people he calls. He has to get XXX on the phone and ask them: - How many stumps you grind per month - What do you charge per stump? - Do you rent a machine, outsource it or own your own? - Would you be willing to outsource it to us? XXX conversations might = XXXXX names on a list, which we've already scraped. That response data will be GOLD. There are 4x more landscaping companies than tree trimming companies, but they grind less stumps, so it's a wash. We're doing the research in Houston and then launching in Dallas. Why? Because they are sister cities and we don't want to taint the market with these calls. Houston = Dallas except hotter, no zoning, and much worse (IMO).
