HW rolls out 5.5G & lists 3D VR, smart cars, smart mfg, cellular IoT & smart computing as use cases

As HW builds up supply chain, will phones/wearables be able to use it?

BAW filters are critical in tuning to specific band w/ minimal power consumption

China's 5G & Wifi band allocation & looks like:
n41 2.515-2.675 GHz China Mobile
n78 3.4-3.5 GHz China Telecom
n78 3.5-3.6GHz China Unicom
n79 4.8-4.9GHz China Mobile
5.15-5.85GHz 5GHz Wifi

See example below of BAW filter tuning to just n79 band of 4.4-5GHz, while not picking up 5GHz Wifi signal

Now, China has allocated GHz band for 5.5G/6G system X months ago (taking up 6.425-7.125 GHz)

Very complex band area here w/ Wifi-5, Wif-6, Wifi-6E & Wifi-7. See QCOM's ultraBAW products filtering different band from X to X GHz

It seems to me products do exist that can cover part of the newly allocated bands, but we need improved technology for phones & wearables to fully utilize the new 5.5G transfer speed

If HW wants to make big splash w/ Mate 70, it should develop a true 5.5G phone that can utilize the new 5.5G bands & have a modem that can process that data
