It's just a recurring type of puzzle that I noticed over Survivor's years - puzzle pieces fitting together in a stack with pegs and holes scattered irregularly on both sides each succeeding piece's pegs and holes lining up until the stack is complete. "Survivor: Every Shard Puzzle What is a shard puzzle It's not an official term and I don't know if there's any real name for it in the real world but it's a type of puzzle that I noticed quite a bit over the course of Survivor (especially in the 20's). It's a flat non-interlocking jigsaw puzzle with pieces shaped like polygons - completely straight sides. Almost always 3-5 sides total per piece.
