What a great idea but my Filly14 is a rare model being a 1950's IMPERIAL. vs a Ralf Aust with about 40+ years apart but both high grade deep hollow blades both had black Arkansas edges only lightly stropped and good HHT. To compliment Eric I used his "Floret de Pines" very slick soap. This is naturally a subjunctive shave both razors tied as equally fine 🙂"

Equal I would say Age and quality of natural stones vary so much . My earlier wooden cased Tam O'Shanter is a totally different stone in texture and proformance . The smaller rougher dual stone I was amazed it performed so well after only [--] laps on a green crox canvas strop as I suspected its more a good medium grit stone. Comparison is everything 🙌 . Both perfectly performed both on 20k Suehiro Gokumyo synthetic edges the Ducal needed a little more stropping to achieve perfect HHT the Iberia hardly any but to make it a fair test I stropped both 😀.
