"Rainforest walk Mt Glorious Westside Track Lawton Road to Western Window This is a rainforest walk at the top of the D'Aguilar Range walking on the Westside Track from the Lawton Road entrance to the Western Window at Mt Glorious. The western trail is the most used whereas the eastern is overgrown and indistinct hard to follow. From the carpark off Old Gympie Road a fire break is followed for 100m before turning right. Some 400m south on the western break a single trail turns left marked with a rock cairn and a National Parks post. The trail reaches an easy rock step that is passed on the right. The format was MOV the walking speed was too quick and the frame rate was [--] fps (currently using [--] fps). "South Pine waterfall South Pine River rises in the country to the east of Mt Glorious. The road from Samford to Mt Glorious runs along side the early river close in several instances. The river is quick to rise after rain and goes back down quickly also. Two days after heavy rains in the Brisbane area I had a look at the river first from below the major waterfall and then from above. There are a couple of short steep hills on the dirt road in from South Ripley and then half an hours walk from the carpark to Goolman Lookout. If you plan on walking on to Mt Goolman there is a beautiful single walking track from the Lookout across to Flinders Goolman Track (FGT) and the Mt Goolman summit track. If visiting Mt Goolman without going to the Lookout walking left on the FGT will get you to the summit turnoff track in half an hour from the carpark"
