"FT8 settings with FTX-1F / Yaesu FTX-1 and WSJT-X settings I used a Yaesu FTX-1F to configure WSJT-X and make one FT8 QSO. I'll share the video with you. I'm not sure if this is the best method and there may be other ways to change the VFO frequency from a PC but I was able to confirm that FT8 is possible with the FTX-1F so I thought I'd share it here. Please note that the brightness may make it difficult to see the PC or FTX-1F screens. (Conversely this was a good thing because it prevented me from seeing the call signs clearly.) This time I used an RHM12 (using the included rod instead of the 5.6m rod) and a 1/4 (approximately 10m) counterpoise as an "air radial" raised about 10cm above the ground.
