We used one part Type N charcoal-dyed mortar with two parts Type S to get the color we wanted. They use a trowel to fill their grout bag then twist and squeeze to get the grout to come out. These guys make it look easy. Ive done it myself and its a lot harder than it looks. Once the grout starts to set-up they use a striker or slicker tool to push the grout back into any voids and to shape it. Next they use a stiff paint brush to smooth it out and clean it up."

"Pouring A Suspended Garage Floor Were putting a room underneath the garage floor on our new house and half the internet told me its going to collapse. Theres no support beams underneath- only these two temporary walls that well remove once the concrete cures.
