We needed to create this big guy to build the largest crossover drill sub we've ever machined. "We DESTROYED the Big Boring Bar (And It's a NIGHTMARE To Repair) It's been one a heck of a week in the shop We'd just upgraded our big Alpha Colchester [----] Lathe (HAL) with a brand new shop made cross-slide bar holder and when we were test fitting the big bar (Godzilla). IT GOT STUCK And it wouldn't budge. After heat and hammers failed we used the hydrualic press to sepearate this ungodly union and the damage was significant.
