"Sluicing for Gold in New Zealand (Bedrock Crevices Hiding Gold) We hiked into a Queenstown valley to reach a river that is too good to ignore. After reading the ground we started digging behind big boulders breaking into hard compact material with pick axes and moving it straight to the sluice. Once the sluice was running the gold started showing almost immediately watching colour drop out never gets old.
