"When there is so much cheap capital in the late stage private markets and it costs 6-7% of your raise to go public why would you IPO Multiple answers. For most even really good companies late stage private capital is not there forever. There are a very small number of companies who have the cachet to continue to raise in the private markets seemingly forever (SpaceX OpenAI Stripe etc) but its likely not an option for even very good businesses like Navan or ServiceTitan.
