"Were aggressively looking for strip malls across America and I each call I do with a broker is incredibly valuable. During a call yesterday a broker asked what our target price range is and I said it was $2.5M - $30M and we buy all-cash. The broker then lost all enthusiasm and the call took a weird turn. You wake up to tranquility eagles flying around and you can sit outside and hear nothing. The Hamptons is great if you want the scene. But if you live in New York City you already have the scene.
