"No o rabo que balana o cachorro Ive been commenting on this for a while. Much of Western mentality still sees itself as the center of the world and capable of leading global development. No that no longer exists. Today no one absolutely no one has the power to impose sanctions anymore. Even traditional embargoes no longer work. Months ago I entered Cuban stores in Havana and there was everything from various parts of the world. Even there the embargo no longer functions. They say the Dutch acted influenced by Washington. I dont believe. Amsterdam has its own interests in this game. The only"

"The situation of the Ukrainian presidential office is critical. The anti-corruption agencies that were created to work with the West now have all the information about contracts and embezzlement. Meetings of these agencies have taken place with American envoys in recent weeks. Those facing a good deal mediated by the U.S. will testify and complicate the life of the presidential office significantly. Corruption and wars go hand in hand; it is not exclusive to Ukraine. There is no shortage of kompromat in the hands of the Americans who want to end the war immediately. Previously any agency in"

"Kyrylo Shevchenko the former head of Ukraine's National Bank is saying that a $XX billion loan would only cover expenses for Q1 thereby revealing a real annual deficit of $XXX billion. Is that what I understood Does that mean $XXX billion is needed annually just to cover the deficit That figure used to be around $35-45 billion recently. I'd like to understand how he multiplied it by X. If $XXX billion are just to cover the deficit how much would be necessary to sustain the front with weapons This is aligned with what I wrote sometime ago: if the west want to the keep the war need to invest"

"A 38-Minute War On August XX 1896 in Zanzibar the pro-British sultan died. His cousin Khalid bin Barghash staged a coup occupied the palace with 3000 men and declared himself the new sultan without consulting the British (who obviously wanted another man on the throne). The British sent an ultimatum: Step down by X a.m. or there will be consequences. Khalid didnt responded. At 9:02 a.m. his flag was still flying. Three cruisers and two gunboats from the Royal Navy opened fire simultaneously. The palace was made of wood and caught fire within minutes; Khalid's old cannons were swiftly"

"A Continent in military and economic hysteria Less. Europe still has a tremendous amount to offer but it is gradually losing its leading role in the cutting-edge technologies it has long exported. The FT article is interesting but the idea that China could completely stop importing or drastically slash its imports is simply not realistic. This imbalance is already fueling protectionism (and will continue to do so). Moreover there is a very simple economic equation at play: if a country imports almost nothing while exporting huge volumes its currency will appreciate its goods will become less"

"A colossal amount of money and a corral mentality in the EU If you look at how much money has been poured into the European Union the conclusion is unavoidable: there was an arrogant mindset from the start. The old powers Germany above all but also the France Netherlands and others thought they were buying markets and building a fenced-in playground where real competition could be kept at arms length. Big corporations assumed they could pressure their governments into locking up these markets for them. Thats exactly what happened. Western European industries expanded eastward steamrolling"

"Israel and US paid over $XX billion for just XX days of war. Another reason why Israel shouldnt attack Iran so soon is the cost of the war in just XX days. Costs: - Direct military costs (defensive + offensive): US$ XX billion (including interceptors used up). - Damage and reconstruction: US$ 6-8 billion (infrastructure hit by Iranian missiles). - Missile production: over US$ XX billion (restocking depleted stockpiles). - GDP contraction (Q2 2025): US$ X billion. "Losses: Ukraine will be forced to change tactics in the face of Russian superiority in fiber-optic drones. Not long ago I wrote this post showing how the Russians had decided to turn the tide in the drone war: I also said that the Ukrainians had made a mistake by trying to nationalize the production of fiber-optic cables putting an entire tactic at risk: This compilation shows that my analysis was correct but more than that I stated that the fall of Pokrovsk would mean a redesign with Russian forces having the advantage in the drone field and that this would interfere with the entire scenario"

"Why I say Japanese submarines are so dangerous and quieter than many nuclear submarines Conventional diesel-electric submarines are normally quieter than nuclear ones only at very low speeds typically up to around 2-7 knots. Above that speed they quickly become noisy while modern nuclear submarines can maintain excellent stealth up to about XX knots. The British Astute-class the Virginia Class and probably the French Suffren-class are said to remain among the quietest submarines in the world even at speeds close to 22-25 knots behind only of the super quieter SeaWolf. So what does this have"

"The new German submarine costs three times as much as its latest-generation Japanese counterpart. The Japanese Taigei-class submarines which Ive mentioned in recent days and which are possibly the quietest in the world have a production cost of around $XXX million per unit in the 20232025 contracts. By comparison the new German Type 212CD widely regarded as one of the best conventional submarines on the planet costs approximately $XXXX billion per boat. Thats almost three times the price of the Japanese submarine which is also considered among the very best in the world. Ive already pointed"

"The Type 212CD is straight-up highway robbery yet it remains the most advanced conventional submarine in existence today. The problem is: it simply cannot cost THIS much. This entire industry has completely forgotten the lessons of World War II. German tanks were technically superior in almost every way yet they were buried under an avalanche of Soviet T-34s and American Shermans tanks that cost less than half as much and were churned out at triple the production rate. That war proved once and for all that in a prolonged attrition conflict quantity and low unit cost are what win not exquisite"

"Cheap locally mass-produced rapidly replaceable and easy to maintain. In World War II Japan fielded one of the finest navies on the planet yet it had almost no ability to replace losses. A handful of decisive battles were enough to cripple its naval power for good. These countries must have long-range missile technology and a robust navy capable of guaranteeing the safety of their exports in wartime. "AUKUS Mistakes and Opportunities In 2016 Japan offered Australia state-of-the-art diesel-electric ultra-quiet submarines with the option of local production at the Henderson shipyard. The Australian government rejected the proposal claiming its goal was always nuclear-powered submarines. Instead Australia decided to spend roughly A$4-5 billion extending the life of its ageing Collins-class fleet until the 2040s . enough money to have bought seven-eight Japanese Taigei-class submarines outright. If thats really what the government wanted the Americans and British certainly sent them the bill"

"The excessively aggressive posture of Japans newly elected prime minister has no real military backing. Although Japan possesses excellent technology and outstanding submarines it will only field missiles comparable to Chinas between 2028 and 2035 and in quantities roughly XXX times smaller. This is typical of the Japanese defense industry: very high quality good unit cost but very low production volume. The situation is expected to improve significantly over the next"

But I go further: in the event of a direct confrontation Europe would be entirely dependent on Ukrainian personnel for both training and the modernization of its military doctrine. Thanks to real-time data fusion between airborne early-warning aircraft ground radars and the active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars of the J-10Cs Pakistan was able to fire PL-15 missiles far beyond the normal kinematic range of a single fighters own radar. "I still cant fully understand this conflict between Thailand and Cambodia. In the first clash it seemed clear to me that Cambodia fired first on a Thai village. But even after the de-escalation and ceasefires Cambodia kept planting landmines along the border including several in areas that Thailand considers its own territory. Moreover there is a very simple economic equation at play: if a country imports almost nothing while exporting huge volumes its currency will appreciate its goods will become less"

A handful of decisive battles were enough to cripple its naval power for good. The deal fell through years ago for multiple reasons but one of the main sticking points was India's demand for full access to the aircraft's software source code which Russia flatly refused. Just as drones in Ukraine dominated the battlefield in Ukraine and proved that anything big and slow becomes vulnerable and almost useless the same fate now reaches submarines. Hundreds of underwater drones will hunt submarines for hours or days until they find them and China leads these breakthrough technologies. Two stand out: - Magnetic Wake Detection: developed by"

"As I wrote before the UAE's highly aggressive interventionism will inevitably strain relations with other Arab states in the region as well. Right now the Emirates are quite possibly the most interventionist nation on earth actively involved in XXX conflicts"

"The silence is an announcement The Modi-Putin summit ended with a result that feels off. Both sides went in with non-negotiable red lines and shopping lists like the start of BrahMos-II additional S-400 regiments Su-57 technology transfer oil and somehow everyone walked away smiling while saying almost nothing concrete. That only happens when the real agreements were made behind closed doors far from Western eyes and sanctions threats. The air positively stinks of clandestine deals"

"The U.S. Has Effectively Outsourced Its Most Critical Missile Defense Capability to Japan After decades of failed programs and tens of billions wasted Washington now depends on Tokyo to deliver the only interceptors capable of defeating Chinese and Russian hypersonic threats. The United States has finally stopped pretending that every complex missile problem can be solved in Huntsville Alabama or Tucson Arizona. The real expertise is in Kobe and Nagoya. The two most important U.S. missile defense programs of the past fifteen years the SM-3 Block IIA and the Glide Phase Interceptor (GPI) are"

"The excessively aggressive posture of Japans newly elected prime minister has no real military backing. Although Japan possesses excellent technology and outstanding submarines it will only field missiles comparable to Chinas between 2028 and 2035 and in quantities roughly XXX times smaller. The Japanese navy remains small when compared to the Chinese one and the capacity of Japanese shipyards is even more limited. This is typical of the Japanese defense industry: very high quality good unit cost but very low production volume. The situation is expected to improve significantly over the next"

"In the coming days an article of mine will be published analyzing Europes preparedness for a hypothetical war against Russia. I highlight a wide range of critical shortcomings: from chronic energy vulnerabilities to arsenals that are not only too small but also poorly maintained. Europe almost completely lacks a domestic industry capable of producing long-range missiles and drones. But I go further: in the event of a direct confrontation Europe would be entirely dependent on Ukrainian personnel for both training and the modernization of its military doctrine. The training that European"

"Japan has just rendered an entire generation of conventional submarines obsolete and the world hasnt fully realized it yet. With the Taigei class and its lithium-ion batteries Tokyo already set a new benchmark: up to three weeks submerged without ever raising a snorkel. That however was merely the opening act. Today Toyota and Panasonic are leading the global race in solid-state batteries with prototypes arriving in 20272028 mass production after 2030 and Japans next submarine class will be the first to use them either in pure battery form or as a hybrid with a small reactor for onboard"

"The military ties that bind Rssia and India The reason is simple: India came away deeply unsatisfied from its last air clash with Pakistan (May 2025). The Pakistani Air Force used a tactic now known as ABC - locked by A (usually an AWACS) launched by B (a J-10C) guided by C (ground-based radar or another platform). Thanks to real-time data fusion between airborne early-warning aircraft ground radars and the active electronically scanned array (AESA) radars of the J-10Cs Pakistan was able to fire PL-15 missiles far beyond the normal kinematic range of a single fighters own radar. India"

I dont understand what possible reasons would lead Cambodia which is militarily much weaker to take such provocative stances. To me it looks like a classic case of nationalism driving reckless almost suicidal policies but Im sure some people much better informed than me"
