Young people are not buying new luxury stuff because 1) they dont have that disposable income (yet) and 2) they recognize that newer stuff isnt as well-made or crafted vs 2nd hand items from the same brands which are also cheaper. Even when they do eventually achieve spending power they might not ever pay full price for luxury until luxury brands start caring about quality/craftsmanship and value again. Not value as in cheaper prices (which is also required) but moreso value for money. No one wants to pay a premium for goods where corners were cut in manufacturing. Theres enough"
