Gas vehicles have a small low voltage battery that must provide high current to a starter motor to get a big cold engine spinning. Then you have to warm the engine up. This can be a problem in cold weather some use inefficient block heaters to help. Those -XX days keep CAA hopping as they run around town giving the gas cars that wont start a boost.
