It's indeed too early for remote professionals (outside of San Salvador at least) whose productivity depends on reliable water electricity and internet to just work in a quiet calm environment under your control. I suspected this years ago before coming. Now in my fourth year here am still trying to solve it with a work-in-progress off-grid setup in an area that was amazing but is unfortunately seeing rapid and unfavorable change and degradation of the environment.
