"This is an excellent question about encrypting P2P $DGB & $BTC traffic over TCP/IP 👏 Short answer: Yes the groundwork for encrypted P2P traffic now exists in DGB v8.26 Taproot Bitcoin Core XXXX introduced v2 transport (BIP324) an experimental protocol that encrypts node-to-node communication. DigiByte v8.26 inherited this upgrade from upstream $BTC but its turned off by default for now till further testing. You can manually enable it with the -v2transport flag and it will automatically negotiate encryption with other peers that support it but not many do right now other than our test"
