"Posted on Reddit and got into a discussion about workload. Lots of teachers are burnt out but when pressed for the cause I couldnt get far. I asked about whether a particular teacher engaged in shared planning and was told s/he has no time for that. Which is interesting. I think some people must have a schema for shared planning that involves sitting in meetings and inefficiently planning lessons together rather than just sharing out the planning load. I am convinced that inefficiency is one of the most fundamental problems in education today and yet anyone trying to promote efficiency will"
