As evidenced by the growing number of entrants into the space that specific part of the card market (P2P marketplace) is ripe for disruption. $GME is already carving out a stronghold in the DTC (direct to consumer) graded card business so the infrastructure exists and is battle tested. Anyone active and hustling in this space will show for it big time on their income statement. $GME did $717m in Collectibles revenue in 2024. CAGR for this sub-category (graded cards) in the US has been a steady 7-9%. But with 2025 likely seeing a 20-30% growth combined with GameStops increased focus in this space the collectibles vertical will easily bring in over $1bn this year.
