If the plan is for Romanov to replace Pelech when Adam ages out of his deal and Schaefer becomes "the guy" I'm not sure I see Romanov ever becoming the defender Pelech is. He definitely made some strides this year his gaps are better he's more active in transition and his shot is now an asset.
