"BUNNY OF THE WEEK TJ TJ came to us weighing just 3.9kg. Hed been rescued from a horrible situation by Clement Rabbit rescue. TJ spent the first X years of his life living in a small cage so small he couldnt stand up fully. He has life long damage to his back and hips from being unable to stretch out. TJ was grabbed by the scruff of his neck and pulled out of the cage when the owner wanted to pet him. Then thrown back in when he was not needed. TJ had major eye infections and deformed eyelids. We had to remove his left eye and perform surgery on his right. TJ is still very wary of humans but"

"The big man I intentionally didnt clean TJs eye today so that dr Sophie could get swabs to send away for bacteria identification as the antibiotics weve been using dont seem to help. His pupil was checked for light reaction and he can definitely see although he acts like hes totally blind most of the time time 😀. His eye pressure has dropped again down to XX. Its still high but its definitely coming down. Dr Sophie doesnt think that removing the eye is going to fix anything and could actually make problems worse due to the issue being the soft tissue around the eye as apposed to the eye"

"This year we Raised 97370 to save Bunnies. 54k of that was spent on vet bills. We also managed to buy a bunbulance build buntopia upgrade all the enclosures and sort out drainage for the rescue. We received 13k in grant funding and 2k from sales of merchandise. Weve rescued over XXX bunnies and saved many from euthanasia or poor conditions. Weve given sanctuary to many sick and disabled bunnies whilst finding forever homes for many more. Vet bills being our biggest expense was always to be expected. Investing into to rescue has been where much of the remaining money has been spent. Thanks to"
